"TINY TIM" FROM PICKET FENCE POODLE RESCUE

is proud to announce that on August 26, 2008, the Internal Revenue Service accepted and officially recognized our organization!  We are now:
"Non-profit" under IRS section 501(c)(3).

PICKET FENCE POODLE RESCUE
is a charitable and educational organization to rescue and supply Poodles with love, shelter, food, human companionship, medical care and spay-neuter services until permanent placement is secured into a pre-screened loving home, as long as the Poodle is not dangerous to humans or other dogs.

PICKET FENCE POODLE RESCUE will accept an adoptable Poodle who is either abandoned in a shelter, or purchased/rescued by any concerned person, or living with an owner who can no longer care for the Poodle.  We also participate in rescue and placement of Poodles who are culled from Breeders or Puppy Mills.

PICKET FENCE POODLE RESCUE feels educating and informing the public about the commercial dog industry in America and about responsible pet ownership is very important as well as reviving the spirit of volunteerism in our great country.

PICKET FENCE POODLE RESCUE wishes to eliminate the euthanasia of any healthy, adoptable Poodles.  We do not accept euthanasia as a means of population control for animals.  We believe each Poodle's life is meaningful and each deserves a loving home.  We take responsibility for each Poodle rescued and placed through Picket Fence Poodle Rescue for the rest of the dog's natural life.

"Tiny Tim"

At various times, Picket Fence Poodle Rescue has poodles that have come to us in need of good homes.

These poodles can be very old or young, or are being retired from a breeding kennel OR the show ring,  or the owner has died, or has not been properly cared for, or are just no longer wanted.

For whatever reason these poodles have come to Picket Fence Poodles, it does not affect their ability to be a wonderful companion for you.

In fact, most of these poodles are so starved for your love and attention that they are truly thankful for your providing them with your warm, loving home. Their devotion and loyalty to you and your family will be evident.

Poodle Whitney and Santa friendsAll these Poodles have been neutered or spayed, which increases your dogs chances of leading a longer, healthier and happier life with you.

Some poodles have been debarked, as many larger cities and kennels are required to comply with a strict noise enforcement policy.
Please.... do not e-mail me a lecture about the evils of debarking.

Poodle In Purse

If there are any health issues or problems, you will be instructed on how to deal with the problems. Because poodles are such a people-oriented breed, these poodles are quickly socialized in our home with the family environment before coming to live with you.

These poodles are placed in good, loving homes, like yours, with the intention that they will receive the love and care that all God's creations were intended to receive. We hope you understand that these poodles come to your home for the final day's of their lives: A "FOREVER" home!

If you are interested, please visit our Puppies/Dogs Available page.

We are a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Please understand that DONATIONS are tax deductible and are always greatly appreciated by us and the Poodles who come to us in need of a "Forever More" home.

Just click on the "Make A Donation"! Thank YOU!

Adoption Information

Poodle Driving A Car

Picket Fence Poodle Rescue adoption fee start at $250.00 and goes up from there.  This helps pay for SOME of our expenses!  The fee is based on the poodles age, size and needs.

PLEASE E-MAIL US with a little information about yourself and questions you have about the Poodle you are interested in adopting!

We will then send you our "Application For Adoption" which asks various questions and requires 3 references, including one from your Vet.

A visit to Picket Fence Poodles to meet with us and the Poodle up for adoption takes place after we contact your references.  If all goes well, you would be able to take your Poodle home with you at that time.

Because we occasionally do home visits both before and after the adoption, we do NOT adopt to homes outside a ONE DAYS DRIVE (round trip) from here. However, in certain conditions, we have made exceptions to this policy.
